Dr. Travis Dust, Owasso & Tulsa Chiropractor, graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in athletic training, and a Master in Business Administration in 2005. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2008. He is the co-director and co-founder of Elite Performance & Rehabilitation.
While attending Kansas Wesleyan University on a football scholarship, Dr. Dust worked as an emergency medical technician in the emergency department for Salina Regional Health Center for eight years. Also during that time, he worked for the university as an athletic trainer for three years with the football, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball and track teams. Dr. Dust specializes in treating athletes and those suffering from sports-related injuries. He has treated a number of professional, collegiate, and recreational athletes.
Dr. Dust has additional training in sports injuries such as the Graston technique, and cold laser therapy. He utilizes several alternative approaches of chiropractic mostly focusing on the soft tissues of the body – muscles, ligaments and tendons, to release muscle tension and improve body function with the idea that “muscles move bones, bones do not move muscles.” He also does traditional adjustments.
When Dr. Dust is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and watching sports. He is an avid golfer and plays in multiple tournaments around the area.
